At Salem, we look at the last words of Jesus to his disciples in the book of Matthew to find our mission as a church: 

 

 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matt. 28:19-20, ESV)

Our mission consists of two sides of the same coin - evangelism and discipleship. We seek to proclaim the gospel to those who have never heard it and to lead those who are following Jesus ever deeper into their relationship with him.
